The Climbing School
"After shattering my left leg, I was told by doctors I would never be able to play in Sports again"
As an active 19 year old I didn't take it well. I got fat, depressed however fate intervened. A friend I met at Uni asked me one day if I wanted to go climbing? I was very unsure at first. I didn’t think I would be strong enough or brave enough to do it, but hey what else was I doing with my time? Studying? Since that weekend in the Peaks I have never looked back. The climbing bug hit me hard! What started as a hobby turned into something more.
Dedicated to Climbing
I started travelling the world looking bigger and harder challenges. On every adventure, I made new friends and found that no matter where you're from, how old you are or how much you earn everyone had one thing in common, we were climbers. After a few years I wanted to pass on this experience and knowledge, so I started to teach this amazing lifestyle to others. Eventually after 16 years of climbing, travelling and instructing, I came back to the place where it all started, where I did my very first climb, The Roaches and set up The Peak Climbing School.
