Summary:
As climbers we put ourselves in a variety of quite serious situations. This workshop has been carefully designed by our most experienced and qualified instructors, to help climbers learn to escape belay systems, to seek help, provide assistance or get to an injured climber.

Who's this for?
This is an advance workshop for climbers that have a good level of experience multi-pitch leading outdoors and are looking to explore more remote areas where rescues from emergency services may be limited. If you can do the following competently this will make life easy to learn these new skills.

Kit needed:
Your rack, 2 x prussiks, guide plate, plenty of slings & carabiners, shoes, chalk & helmet. If you are struggling for kit let us know as we have plenty at the school however learning with your own equipment is really useful and is advised.
Itinerary:
Our normal start time and meeting point is 9:30am at our centre The Peak Climbing School however as this is a private booking you are welcome to choose and pick your start time and venue. Here we will brief you on the days activity whilst having a free brew and biscuit. From here we will set off into the crag for an exciting days learning. We sometimes we use areas further away from our centre so you can get the most out of your course, therefore some transport is advantageous. However if you are struggling for transport please let us know so we can arrange some for you. We aim to be finished around 4:30pm.
How to book:

The calendar shows all our availability, just simply selected the date and book in! If there isn't a date available please don't hestitate to Contact us and im sure we can sort somthing out for you. We need a min of 2 people to run this course successfully! Therefore bookings are made for 2 people attending.
FAQ's
We will supply you with all the kit you need! Thats shoes, chalk, harness, helmet the full works! We only use proper climbing equipment not crotch busting harnesses and normal group kit like many others use, if you're going to learn to climb then use the kit you're going to buy is our moto. If you have and like to use your own thats also no problem.
You will just need to bring / wear sutible clothing and food water etc.
We keep a very close eye on the weather at all times. If its just looking a little damp, overcast or showery the course will go ahead as normal and most of the time its never as bad as met office makes out! We are experts at finding dry and suitable areas to train you and our local knowledge is second to none. If however the weather is looking terrible for the duration of the course then you will be given the choice of re-booking onto another session later in the year and we will prioritise your booking over any new ones we receive.
