Gogarth is an incredible place. The first time you abseil into one of its many cliffs, you are totally blown away by the size and shear atmosphere of the place. Dream of White horses is the absolute Gogarth Classic, the climbing is awesome, the positions are mind blowing and if you fancy it let us know and we will guide you up this 'must do before you die' route. This mini trip is set over 2 days with day 1 being our prep day. Dreams is predominantly a traverse and seconding this route is almost as perilous as leading it. Therefore we will spend the first day looking at a variety of techniques to get you skilled up and prepared for the ascent.

What you'll Learn...
  • Ascending ropes
  • Stance managment
  • Movement on rock
  • Multi pitch techniques
  • Asbeiling
  • and more...
Who's this for?

Anyone looking for an amazing weekend of sea cliff climbing or looking to climb one of the definitive routes in the country. You must be beconding routes S - HS to feel comfortable with this climb.

Day 1 -  We will meet and have a quick brew at the cafe next in the the RSPB centre. From here we can walk to all the crags in the area for some training. Day 1 will look at a variety of skills such as abseiling, ascending ropes and stance managment. These are esstential for looking after yourself whilst on 'Dreams'. We should be finished on day by 4:30pm

Day 2 - The ascent! A nice early start is good as the climb is around 30/40mins walk away and setting up to get into the main cliff can take some time. We should be on the route for around 3/4hrs so a small bag with food and drink is needed to be carried whilst we climb. We should be off the climb in the early afternoon and head back for a well deserved cup of tea of coffee.
